Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A temporary opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support an elementary school located in Glendale, AZ. This contract position will provide leave coverage from January 21, 2025, through April 1, 2026, working 22.5 hours per week across three days following a 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to a general education caseload of approximately 30 students.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
- Ensure compliance with state certification and health licensing requirements.
- Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with parents and staff.
Qualifications:
- Must hold an active ADE Certification.
- Possession of a valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Card.
- Current Health License required.
- Experience working in an elementary school setting preferred.
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 30 students.
- Familiarity with FMLA coverage responsibilities and school-based therapy protocols.

- This is a contract leave coverage role with no use of SLPA or VOCO services.
- The position supports a single school within the district.
- Work schedule is three days per week, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
